Update on school issues - teacher realised by himself that what he had done was not right, apologised to kid and cancelled detention. Kid is happy with way things turned out.

Glad teacher had his "shit, did I just do that?" moment himself!

Hmm.. I really wish I had "Senior management experience of finance, governance and business planning skills" - BfN is looking for a new CEO... now I think that is a job I could do and enjoy!

oh dear... watching who wants to be a millionaire celebrity - I'm a Celebrity people Rosemary Shrager and Hugo Taylor were asked the question "what is present on the earth but not on the moon? A: Gravity, B: Wind, C: Sunlight, D: Craters."

They were seriously going for gravity.

Rosemary saidsomething along the lines of "There's definitely wind on the moon - there isn't any gravity, is there?" Hugo said he thought there was some, just less. They decided to phone a friend.

Friend, her daughter in law, said that there was definitely craters and wind on the moon, but there was no gravity.

With a second or two to go Hugo said "I really think that it is wind..." and they went for keeping the money at last second.

Wind on the moon? Really?

ZERO gravity?!?!?!? Even more WTF!

*sigh*

(Yeah, I know people would probably have the same reaction to me if I were asked a question about something like cricket, but seriously... I thought no air (and therefore no wind) on the moon was fairly common knowledge? Or am I just being crabbit tonight?)
